Freight trains now travel both ways so you can ride one out to the desert
if you want.
This makes sense because freight trains would use a turntable to travel
back and fourth
Always make sure you keep a backup of your common.rpf
use Open IV and add my traintracks.xml into:
common.rpf /data/levels/gta5/
close file.
Enjoy.

@ b1trider You don't need to replace in common, You can add the files to update.rpf and they will override the ones in the Common.rpf
Yeah I can. but I don't need to unless rockstar updates that file in the next patch :-)
Added it as per instruction. Standing in Senora desert railway crossing for like 3-4 game hrs but cant see any train coming from paleto side

The idea is good, but the events of crude ... When overtaking the train stops for some reason ...

Hey man, where did you get the original file? Like which RPF? I'd love to start dabbling in these things but none of these awesome .xmls (bar a few) are in update.RPF. Thanks man!
I don't exactly know what your mod changes but when using it (together with Railroad Engineer 1.0.1) my train gets stuck at Grand-Senora-Desert above Travor's airport.

No matter if I drive fast or slow there the train hits an invisible wall. When I remove (I don't put files in common.rpf but always in update.rpf) your mod again I never get stuck there.
