Edit: I should specify. Pressing E+LCtrl causes that to happen.
This is a great mod, however for some reason pressing LCtrl+E pulls up the menu (I have F6 set in the .ini). Because of this, it clashes with another mod I have installed.
@OneMinuteYT Good thought, but that can't be it. I can manually enable/disable a seatbelt function using Enhanced Native Trainer and it works normally that way, but for some reason I can't do that with your mod.
Furthermore, I noticed another bug that might be related. I found that sometimes when I enter a car, the seatbelt is already enabled (i.e. I don't see the message). If I crash at a high speed I still fall out, though, and I can exit the car normally. I hope this makes sense.
@ikt Nice work! Could you correct the values for "bus" please? I tried changing the values in the .ini but I can't get it just right.
@Eddlm Could you reupload v1.0 (https://puu.sh/nnJLZ.zip) please? The link's dead.
@ImNotMentaL Really cool mod! This works fine for me. The only changes I would like to see is if you could add a toggle in the .ini to either enable or disable the speedometer and the map blip.
Nice replacement, great work as always! :-D
"I'm a cowboy. On a steel horse I ride. I'm wanted, dead or alive!" :-)
Gotcha, sorry I didn't see that note above. Thanks for the reply.
Would you mind sharing the source code for the version(s) available? I'm interested in just poking around and seeing if I can fix any issues with it.
@OneMinuteYT Yes, I was playing as Michael. I could lock the seatbelt so that I couldn't leave the car, but crashing fast enough would still make me break through the windshield. And don't worry about forgetting the sound, nice to see it fixed :-)
By the way, not sure if you checked the sound fix I uploaded in the last comment, but the place I got the sound effects from also had a no seatbelt beep warning. It made me think, that would be a pretty cool effect to add as well. No seatbelt makes the car beep until you click it in. I thought this might be best as an .ini boolean, something like: BEEPWHENOFF = TRUE/FALSE
And yes, I too think a small icon showing the seatbelt status in the bottom right of the screen, just above the map, would look really nice.
