@laczpro19 The blinking is caused by other scripts, I remember having solved that in this comment section, earlier.
I am working on an update, hopefully should release soon. It will probably include a Le Mans route!
@szhitt Handling itself doesn't change, but the new model is not 1:1 to the vanilla one. The models' world center will vary, moving the center of mass around and screwing with the cars' physics.
You can offset this in the handling to compensate for the unwelcome change, though.
@szhitt Appreciated, but don't worry about videos. Current AI has nothing to do with 0.6.5 AI.
After I update the mod though, I'd love them, they help a lot in knowing how the actual player experience is
@szhitt I didn't follow the chain, but by your final statement I can tell you, maybe the coming update can help with those handling issues. You see, my AI is far from perfect aswell. :P
Been working on improving it for the past eight months or so.
@any333 Yeah, agreed. The ideal way to solve it would be to either force the same rotation speed, or power the wheel to the intended power.
@any333 I accessed the same offset when figuring it out, though I had a different way of getting the offset. May try it again, thanks!
@any333 I have already measured reported torque, directly from each wheel. I have reliable values of power and torque at all times - they do not drop.
This makes me think the cut is not done on torque/power but on the actual throttle input, but forcing 100% throttle does not work either.
The way I implemented this does not attempt to restore the torque, just physically counteract the effect. It would be ideal to restore the data itself (torque) instead of restoring the physical effect, but for now...
@DirtSpray Uploading a fix, it crashed because it didn't find the player vehicle. 1.1b
@xtohoodrich I don't play on wheel so I don't know how it will translate, but I am positive the countersteering does work well and you can keep the car sideways with some skill, the power keeps coherent and its not just cheaty powerslide. It does depend on the power and transmission of the car.
@any333 I now realize I misunderstood. Its capped, it does not increase beyond TCL.
