MIRROR PARK 1.0 V4EVERmod for Legacy & Enhanced Versions
Hey guys.. I have been working on the Mirror Park, Echoe Park in the real L.A.
I have used more than a thousand entitys in the area including vegetation, fences, boats, hamburger & hot dogs stands, water vegetation, benches, trash bins, lights, signs etc. to give a real life feeling to the park.
It works on 60 fps on my humble laptop (i5, GTX 1650, 16 gb ram ) with all in high in both editions with visualV so I think it will work fluid in almost all systems ..

1- Install the Requirements.
2- Copy the custom maps folder same path inside your mod folder. (mods\update\x64\dlcpacks). If you dont have a mod folder then just copy the entire mod folder in the root directory of the game.
3- Edit and add a line at the bottom of your dlclist.xml file with the name of the mod. (GTAV/mods/update/update.rpf/common/data)

Nothing I have notice but If you already have installed a mod that modifes that same area then the props of both ympas will probably overlap. If you find somethig to correct please let me know.
You shouldnt have problems but If the game crashes try a modified gameconfig, the heap limit adjuster mod and the packfile limit adjuster.

@NewtonSandey Parece bien instalaldo. Dentro de la carpeta de custom maps ves todos los ympas? deberían ser 3 ymaps y un archivo más llamado

@NewtonSandey Try moving custom_maps higher up on your dlclist. Don't make it last in line. I had a similar problem before and doing so fixed it.
Here's a thread section I just came across if that doesn't work.
Just use Open IV, go to the custom_maps folder (mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\custom_maps) and open up the “dlc.rpf”. Edit the “content.xml”. Inside the xml, look for “<genericConditions>$level=MO_JIM_L11</genericConditions>” and replace it with “<genericConditions>$level=MO_JIM_L00</genericConditions>”. Boom. The maps are back.

@Pluma_1980 inside my custom_maps folder there's only "dlc.rpf". I'm using the most recent game version. I understand that the files in the "ymaps" folder are only necessary for those who have the "v4ever" full mod installed. the xml change above don't change nothing for me :(
@Pluma_1980 This looks nice but what's the potential for this map to conflict with other ones out there? For example, I got " Real California Architecture" installed, would this map conflict with that one?
Excellent! The mod works without any file edits on GTA 5 enhanced with NVE.

@NewtonSandey @JAM102970 Not necessary.. If you already have a custom_folder for other mods you can throw them there. they are the same files as in the custom_folder. If you already have a cutom folder working you can try putting them there to see if it starts that way.
You have the 4 files in the custom folder right? "v4_ehw_echopark_a.ymap" "v4_ehw_echopark_b.ymap" "v4_ehw_echopark_a.ymap" and the "_manifest_mp.ymf"
Try this.. rename the this file "_manifest_mp.ymf" to "_manifest.ymf".. The manifest make visible the ympas for the game.. Gta5 use "_manifest" for their ympas.. so let´s see if that works. May be the custom name for the manifest is creating the conflict.

@JAM102970 Well.. I think It shouldn´t have problems with califronia architecture.. It probablyu overlapp with other mods that add entitys like LArevo or lively world. I guess they will work togheter but you will se the entitys of the ymaps of both mods so .. It will probably be a mess.. lot´s of trees from one and another mod. .
@NewtonSandey It's likely that you have a dlcpack that in it's content.xml and setup2.xml the dlc name is set as custom_maps . And it is conflicting with Pluma's dlcpack. You can try disabling the other dlcpacks to see will that fix the issue. Also try reverting back to MO_JIM_L11 again.
@Pluma_1980 You could use a mod specific name for the dlcpack, there is a mod which also uses the same dlc name as a base to install every ymap mods, people who have it will have conflicts with your mod. So you can make your dlcpack's name as MirrorParkRedesign instead.
💠 Also you might wanna defrag the dlc.rpf, it's size over 1.5 GB ( probably the leftovers size from your V4Ever mod ).
💠 And there was a leftover .rpf in the content.xml , _cityw/maps/custom_maps.rpf . It's harmless but just letting you know.
💠 Last thingy I can suggest is, you can keep the folder structure minimum for addon maps. You can set it as; MirrorParkRedesign\dlc.rpf\x64\mirrorparkredesign.rpf . No need to go levels\gta5\_citye route. Although there is no harm in your doing, it's just easier and more convenient this way.
@MissySnowie the custom_maps is very generic.. the idea was that if someone were already using other ymaps in a custom_folder just drop the files there but for those who haven´t one may be its better a single DLC..
About the defrag... men.. I can´t understand why It´s so heavy... guess the .rpf is bringing the info from the big mod as you mentioned.. but I don't quite understand why to be honest..
About the root´s and the simplification.. good info about that.. I will use all this info for the update buddy..

@Pluma_1980 You are welcome 😊😊 Unfortunately the .rpf size doesn't update when you delete something inside, it might be a cache issue or just a design limitation of the rage engine 🤔 At least it's very easy to defrag the archive to it's real size with Codewalker RPF Explorer 😅
About the custom_maps thingy, I think you misunderstood. I believe you were referring to the ymaps outside the dlc.rpf .
Including them is good of course, but what I was meaning is the dlcpack itself. The one that goes with custom_maps\dlc.rpf\x64\levels... So for that one, you can give it a unique name instead. But the other 3 ymaps outside the dlc.rpf can be good to be used with a main custom_maps dlcpack/template.
The issue with using custom_maps as a dlcpack name is, there are a lot of mods using this particular name ( like https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/mapeditor-2-ymap-converter ). For people who knows what they are doing, they can easily merge multiple ymaps into this, but the ones who don't, they will get non working dlcpack issues because of name conflict.
@Pluma_1980 @MissySnowie @writtninblood renamed the "_manifest_mp.ymf" file and reverted the "MO_JIM_L11" line but still nothing happens on the Park :( maybe I already have a dlcpack that uses "custom_maps" like MissySnowie said, but I have no idea. Im used to install only car mods (and Forests of San Andreas)
