A new lake in front of Franklin home.
Initially wanted to be a pool, but it was very big, it has become a lake.
Usually test to see if you can do and how far the water you can handle.
Let me know what you think.
Instructions
- Before opening the game, run OpenIV and go to edit mode, Navigate to common.rpf/data/level/gta5
BACKUP water.xml in case something went wrong.
And then replace it with the one included in the archive.
Then open game and load the franklin_lake file with the editor.
You need Map Editor by Guadmaz https://it.gta5-mods.com/scripts/map-editor,
F7 -> load -> xml -> franklin_lake

I'd like to see the video but ... people tend to put music into them, so ... germans are fucked as always, can't watch it in this country, meh.
@ParkYongLee there are browser extensions that fix that. Legal too.
@Think_Tank I tried several, but even hola doesn't work for YT anymore, also the google translation page does not show videos from netherland server then anymore. I gave it all up.
@alebal how you make the water are working?But when i spawn water for house building the water cannot be swim but walking..Sorry bad english

@ajang I noticed myself sometimes this thing. I think it's the fault of the pools. Some pools are submerged, and the two levels of the pool water and the lake, creating some confusion.
@mixtro The water runs into rectangles, I added a rectangle. it's all in water.xml file. From the time I'm thinking of making a tutorial, but for now I'm still doing a lot of tests to understand how it works. As soon as I have the ideas a little clearer I do the tutorial.

@mixtro open the water;xml, and copy/past a part of the file (just the part <item> to the </item> and only one)
You now just have to replace the value used, minX maxX, minY maxY correspond to the side of the water (X;Y are the coordinate value)
And the Z value is the height (default is 0 for sea)
then go in game and choose the area you want to cover, use a coordinate shower, and note the min and max X/Y you want and the height of the area you are in
just have to put them in the water.xml and then you're done

@alebal The video surely was working at that time, it's just the music in the video is the reason the video gets blocked in germany, so I had to use a VPN to watch it.
I think if you increase the object distance in the map editor it would look better in the video as you would see all the objects in the outer limit, too.
@Alebal that's insane! My mind doesn't quite yet understand how you made a lake in front of Frank's house though.. Trying to comprehend what's underneath the lake if you know what I mean.... houses? hum.... Shame I can't check it out until I finish my final exams for uni. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
