This is an edited version of mrchazta's Single Player Car Rental mod. This version of the mod is edited to allow for easy customization of what cars you would like to be able to rent. I will try to update this as the original script is updated or until it either stops being updated or this becomes obsolete.
Installation Instructions:
1. If you already have mrchazta's rental cars mod installed, delete it. If you don't, go to step 2.
2. Open the .lua file included with the download with a program like Notepad++.
3. Edit the values for configurable rental cars and configurable premium rental cars. You must use the exact model (model names can be found here, make sure you use the text eg. 'ninef' and not the numbers next to it) or it will not work.
4. Once you have all the cars you want, we now have to edit the text that will be shown in the rental menu. Begin editing all the values under Configurable Rental Car Names and Configurable Premium Rental Car Names. You can choose to put the car brand or not, it really doesn't matter as this wont affect the car the game gives you.
5. Once you've finished editing all your cars, you might want to adjust the price to a more realistic value. Edit all of the values under Configurable Car Prices to the prices you want. Keep in mind that this will not be the exact price you pay, the script will adjust the rent fee, adm fee, deposit fee and insurance fee accordingly.
6. Save & Close the file, and move it to YourGTA5Install/scripts/addins
7. Log in game and go to the red airplane blip at the airport, enjoy!

@sally.za08 Seems like an interesting project, I'll give it a shot. However it will probably be in C# not LUA as that is what I generally prefer working with, this was more as a side project. I'll let you know if I end up doing that.

hmm...doesn't work. There is no any red airplane blip on the map...
@Balder Then you probably messed up the configuration. Are all of the values you set in quotes? If need more help upload everything above "you are not supposed to be in here unless you know what you do" to http://pastebin.com/ and send me the link. Also, if you have a lot of other mods that add blips to your map, you may not have the blip, although the mod will still work. Go to where I am standing in the screenshot and press E, if no menu comes up, then the mod isn't working.
@thegeek1122 Nice..... Actually i have a .net version of this mod with over 70 cars to be rented and since i am to busy working on Smart Fuel mod and DIRT V mod now, maybe you want to continue this project?
Oh and one other thing, feel free to use your name only in "Author" you do not have to put my name on it... You have been working your time on this version and it has to be you on this version, not me. Just put my name inside readme file and file description as a first script creator is more than enough i think.

@mrchazta I'd be glad to take a crack at the .NET version. I'm still learning C# but I'd be happy to work on that. Was hoping to see your mods converted anyways considering LUA hook is no longer in development. Add me on Skype, stuart.belsky.
Also, all I did was make a simple edit to your mod, anyone could do it honestly :P I'll leave your name in for the time being if that's alright. Thanks alot though! Looking forward to working on the .NET version!
@thegeek1122 I'll try to prepare that first. still need some balancing and tweaks before get it compiled, though.
Actually for not too soon I will still continue and developing my mods on lua. now im working on some corona projects in my office related to my jobs and work and think making mod in lua seems to be a fun way to learn. I still need a lot to learn lua for sure.. thats why i'll leave the .net version to you ;).

@yzhlzz That's just the display vehicle, you have to rent the vehicle by going to the red airplane blip and selecting it from there.
