All peds should work as a drop-in replacement for any ambient ped by simply renaming them and overwriting. Can probably also be used as add-on.
Assets are taken from in-game models, GTA IV, and -CREATIONS-.
Installation:
1. Open GTA V directory in OpenIV
2. Replace any ambient ped. These may be located anywhere in:

Can you explain/give a link re. what to edit in "peds.meta" and "rpf" to have new peds blended into the game (instead of add-on), please? Many thanks!
@mcdim If you are using addon peds mod it will create peds meta for you I think. Just edit popgroups file. I am only offering alternative manual method (creating or recycling dlcpack)

(initial test though failed - I left only a single "addon" ped for "Richman Street general" in popgroups.ymt, but the peds collection in game was absolutely the same - and I couldn't spot the "addon" ped in the crowd :| - will play with it more)

It appears "Addon peds" mod doesn't create "peds.meta" file at all (at least in its folder's "dlc.rpf").
After creating "peds.meta" from a template found in internet and filling it with addon peds names (together with listing them in "popgroups.ymt", of course) the characters started to appear in the game.

@Tymurioz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rfUnZwWagz0 For face rigging. For rest of body, I would simply conform the body to template body as closely as possible, then clone weights from template to your mesh. This will probably cause subpar rigging on arms and hands, so I typically just replace the arms/hands with the template's and remap the UV to your mesh.
Also note that this is all for Zmodeler 3, which is a lousy software, and you might do better learning GIMS Evo, but then you better ask quechus13 or someone.

Can I just drag them all to x64v.rpf/models/cdimages/componentpeds_a_f_y.rpf? Please tell us the exact route.
@zeroTw0 I *think* that might work, but you would have to spawn the ped manually with trainer.
Alternatives include:
Using Add-On Peds mod
Placing peds in custom/existing DLC assets folder and updating peds.meta
Replacing existing peds

I need help, because I'd like to convert 1 ped into this game ("f_y_villbo_01"), and I have no idea how to do that, since they're not wtd/wtf/wdd files anymore...
