At all speeds, pressing the brake will now only cause proper surface type SFX to play. Previously, when tapping the brake at any speed over 5mph, there was a guaranteed annoying sound effect played of your tyres losing traction.
I've now replaced that sound, so in game when you hit the brake, if you listen carefully you'll hear the pedal being pushed down... amazing, right?
Also reduces vehicles.awc file size for all you big sound modders!

There is an OIV installer, but alternatively,
If you want to retain your current vehicles.awc, import the audio file 0x057E09B6. In order to hear the correct DSP effects you will need to edit a line of Vehicles.oac before said import. Follow Headroom Adjustment for details.

@prince_linus Finally a review. Thank you very much and it's great you like and it works. Just wanna ask you can you hear the slight pedal plasticy metalic sort of sound when braking? It's super quiet, but the best time to hear it is in a sedan like Fugitive and go extremely fast on freeway

@eleventwentytooo Alright, I turned the volume up and took some cars onto the freeways. When breaking, I could hear some sort of electronic buzzing with the Fugitive I didn't hear on any other car, though I'm not sure if that's the sound you mean.
@prince_linus Hmm so you can't hear the new SFX? Strange, I might have to reupload this later with a differently exported sound file. Thanks a lot for letting me know!
@eleventwentytooo Can you help me find the special ability sounds? Ive searched through the sfx folders for hours and just can't seem to find it.

@Mischa he does, he has some personal matters he is currently tending to, but i have been writing him a good bit on there since December. a person on this site tried to make an uninstaller and used some of his code lines ...he got pretty upset about that and a couple mods including reyser and reacon didnt like his reaction and unfairly ganged up against him and banned him from this page... very sad and very unfair. I recieved a "final warning" defending him. if i was granted my God given freedom of speech i would say more but for fear that i may get slapped with a perm ban perhaps i will not... FUCK IT! fools will be fools LOL!!! i know 1122 and he is a great guy, which is waaaaay more than i can say for some of the toothless morons that run 5m.
@Mischa btw he does not get anywhere near the page visits and downloaded that he got from here so if you have many friends on here that also like his mods send them his way. i honestly wouldnt blame him for giving up if that were the case because it was truly unjust what they did... they pushed him to his boiling point and then once he was frustrated with them in that... they just took him down. very sad because they dont even know the guy or any of the shit he has been going through. 1122 is certainly skilled.
@dodgeboy121 i hear you thanks, i know a lot of ppl who wants the Re-Road project thanks for that and i hope we're not doing anything againts the 5mods community, bc i like to see the mods here and publish here sadly he got banned :(
@Mischa well i dont see anything against 5m, they did however fire the first shots here, i mean i do have resentment towards them over this and i know the damage they did to 1122 himself because im friends with 1122... we are on a names basis. i feel its damaging to the community itself with the potential of 1122's mod ... gta5 needs it and more importantly needs its future... 1122 had his code and screen shots stolen and in that situation 5m turned on the original mod author so i feel like that is very bad behavior, and poor practice for them not to protect their rising mod developers... on top of that they carry absolutely 0 forgiveness in any given situtation ...
@dodgeboy121 I checked the forum they had some proves against him, but since you're a friend of him, do he still developing the mod? that mod is a Must-have
@Mischa i read that entire forum, he swore at the mods and that is why he was banned. they pushed him to that point. He is still developing the mod and hopes to release the next update by the end of the month ... but this depends on his real life situations.

Small thing but so annoying...you can extract the 0x057E09B6 file from vehicle.awc, edit it with audacity, make it mute or low the volumes, and put it back on vehicle.awc. Enjoy!
