Description:
This mod aims to improve the sound of the commercial jets in the game. Sounds that would be found on these airplanes in real life were added to improve realism. Instead of adding a specific engine type for the jet this time, I added a General sound folder, these sounds will suit ALL planes that use the large jet sound (a320, a340, 787, 777, etc.) There is also a Heavies sound folder, this is more of a thick, heavy sound if you only plan to use planes like the 777, A380 and A340. It's not recomended for planes like the a320, 787 and other smaller planes using the large jet sound.
Recovery Options:
If you are not satisfied with these sounds, I have provided the old sounds for you in this file. All you have to do is copy and paste the old sounds into the current plane folder replacing the ones already in there. Then drag and drop the .oac file into OpenIV again.

how would i add this to my current vehicle sounds just extact replace the files within the folder and re input them ?
@GanjaMonster right click the vehicles with edit mode on, it will give option to export to open formats, then find a location to export it, then you should see two things: vehicles folder and a .oac file. Drag sounds from the NEw folder and put it into the vehicles folder you just exported. Then go back to OPEN IV and drag the .oac file back into the original location. MAKE SURE .OAC FILE AND VEHICLES FOLDER ARE IN THE SAME LOCATION.

@LeaponWep nice to hear! :) Just one question: what vanilla-plane uses the large_jet and what plane the jet sound? The cargoplane (as I thought is the large jet) has its own file and the smaller Jetplanes like Shamal or Luxor too.
@kingle92 The default jumbo jet uses large_jet and the jet folder I think is used by other smaller jets like the Vestra and etc...

Hello, thanks for dedicating your time in this awesome change for the planes. May I ask which plane model uses the large jet sounds? I notice there are cargo plane, large jet and jet but I hardly notice the sound of the large jet. I also check the audio harsh in the vehicle meta but cannot find one. Thanks!

Could you advise me what real life engines correspond to your FSX extracted sound files? (like your heavy sound is from 777 Ge90 I guess) I think I might be able to assign your sound file to different desired dlc planes separately by modifying vehicles.meta. Knowing the real life engine models they correspond to really helps! Thanks!
