Please note: help will not be provided if you have problems with the lightbars not spawning correctly. Make sure you follow the installation instructions in the readme file that is provided, these extra steps are required for this mod to work properly.
A small improvement mod for Rockstars vanilla North Yankton State Police vehicles. It's not much but here are a list of improvements/features below for this pack:
Features
- improved lighting and assets on Rockstars original models
- lore inspired Federal Twinsonic lightbar with the choice of either all red or red/blue lighting
- esperanto's passenger side door seal has been fixed to face the correct way
- trunk and interior assets such as cones, radio, lamps and even a racked shotgun plus more
- classic wobbly antenna
- scaled up vanilla liveries (may not be the best quality though)
- normal vanilla features such as breakable windows, LODs, dirt mapping etc
Installation
1. copy the 'beastybill88_snowpolice' folder to the file path "mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/"
2. open OpenIV, navigate to 'dlclist.xml' in "mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/". Add "dlcpacks:/beastybill88_snowpolice/"
3. PLEASE SEE THE README FOR FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS AS IT REQUIRES REPLACING VANILLA VEHICLES.META DATA ENTRIES FOR THIS MOD TO WORK CORRECTLY

@fib agent matheus Thanks :) glad people are enjoying it. I may take a suggestion I got and do a retro Stanier and Alamo to replace them to make it feel more like 2004, not 1984 lol
yes the retro alamo, merit(if they will use chevy impalas in real life) and the stainer would be more appropriate for the events of the first mission
@fib agent matheus Yeah it would only be 2 vehicles though as the game only scripts the policeold1 and policeold2 models to spawn in the prologue mission. So it would be a toss up between the Stanier or the Merit, most likely the Stanier as its the most popular model.
