@defalt tadaa, here is your 'starters pack'... containing your 3 latest bikes.
As you might know: add a new line to your dlclist.xml inside the /mods/update/update.rpf/common/data with the name of this dlc pack. In this case 'defalt'. And copy the folder 'defalt' with the dlc.rpf inside the mods/update/x64/dlcpacks folder. Spawn names are nsr500, yamm1 and ducgp15.
If the game crashes when using an add-on pack, make sure you use an altered gameconfig.xml which can be found inside imtaj's mods or inside aige's mods. There's also a couple on here floating around loose :) These gameconfig's have increased poolsizes for various vehicles entries, fragmentstore, etc, etc.
Pointers:
i. As you are not using tuning parts on these few bikes I left the carcols.meta section empty and added a dummy 'empty_mods' inside. This way, if you ever want to mess with that you're good to go (just rename the empty part inside the rpf aswell as inside the contents.xml file and refer to it in the carvariations.meta);
ii. As your bikes use the vanilla handling from the BATI I simply refer to that in the vehicles.meta. I did include an empty handling.meta though and referred to it inside the contents.xml so you can insert a custom handling if desired...
iii. If you add a new model to this rpf which also uses the BATI you can simply copy the entire section for a model inside vehicles.meta and carvariations.meta and rename the spawn name in the appropriate places: 3x inside the vehicles.meta and 1x inside carvariations.meta. If it uses a different stock setup han just get that from the vanilla files and do your thing with it;
iv Always keep empty lines to seperate sections for different models, that makes it way easier navigating in time through these files. Trust me;
@all, I haven't changed sound from BATI one. If you know which sound to use for different types of bikes, don't be shy and do tell here.
Guesss that's it for now, hope you keep at it :) Although there's no dails (hint hint, nudge nudge), you are putting out some real nice models. Always feel free to ask something or badger me!
@ReNNie ur awesome man lets see what can i do
@Defalt MT10 is beautiful bro :((
@Defalt Looks so good, I HAVE to have it! I will make this mean Psycho Racing Team skin to customize it for my game :D Great job!
@ReNNie hey man i have a question, inside carvariations u setup some array indices different for all bikes, but i cannot find any relations with those ids, what actually are those(<indices content="char_array">
112
112
134
156
</indices>)
@Defalt
112 : primary color
112 : secondary color
134 : pearlescent
156 : wheel color
@ChOcOsKiZo thank u for the info but why use different id on bike that are identical
@ReNNie is it working with any bike's carcols and carvariations meta? i mean this bike is for replacing Bati, so if i make addon and use others bike metafiles, is it working?.
for now i only can make addons from already existing dlc, because the metafiles aren't encrypted
@ReNNie you say you left the carcols empty but this bike will need a stats tuning (engine, transmission) and wheels, and what carvariations you used to make those addons
Good bike but the lights do not work.
@felikkw stats tuning is easily achieved by using 0_default_modkit in the carvariations;
@defalt correct, the car colors (COL1 - COL4) are not used on these specific bikes as they are fully textured, on others you might want to use it;
@ReNNie haha, all right thanks dude, awesome.
@ReNNie I decided to make a bike add-on pack myself, firstly for my use, because of last time when I filled my game with large files bikes and planes, I killed my game's frame rate. So I started from scratch, from harder part of adding all Imtaj bikes with mod kits first, and now I am adding bikes from Defalt which I added 6 for now, and tomorrow I will add all others and from other authors.
@Defalt I didn't use your bikes till now, but you did a good job converting them. The only minus are dials which are not working on any bike I tried till now. I have some special Handling data and driving every ''bati'' is a blast. You have a lot of textures which are probably unused. I'm thinking of deleting them from pack.
@OfficerOink If you look a little better, this is GP racing bike without any lights, so you will need a flashlight for night driving ;P
@kizacudo no problem man do what u like
@kizacudo oh my bad.
@kizacudo I'm doing the exact same thing, slowly filling a bike pack. Would like a better default handling for these bikes too ;)
@ReNNie I have so real bike handling, but I don't enjoy it, something like KillaTomate for bikes, but I found something in the middle. Faster, with smoother turns but breaking is unreal, which I like more. Today I will finish my pack and I will send you the link by mail.
@defalt
A picture of the TheManiac#29 version would be good. Thx!
thanks
