@Cashrules You're welcome bro
@Davewass117 it's a general issue most people will run into when installing add-ons. Installing a custom gameconfig.xml from the site usually fixes it. If not, you can install the weapon as a replacement. I'll paste one of my old comments about how to do that:
First remove the path from your dlclist.xml, then with OpenIV, go to
and copy w_me_capshield.ydr and w_me_capshield.ydt to your desktop.
Next, go to
and replace one of the melee weapons, the filename starts with "w_me". For example, let's say you want to replace the crowbar with the shield. The crowbar files you should replace are w_me_crowbar.ydr and w_me_crowbar.ydt, so back these up somewhere.
Now rename w_me_capshield.ydr to w_me_crowbar.ydr, and w_me_capshield.ydt to w_me_crowbar.ydt. Then replace the files in openIV.
Now start you game, and take out the crowbar, which should now be the shield. Finally, open the Captain America script menu, open up whatever profile you want (ex: Default Player), go to Shield Settings, and select "Save Current Weapon as Main Weapon". Now when you use the profile, the shield will be given to you and you can use the script as intended.
@Cashrules Don't got a patreon :)
Anyways, give this a try: https://mega.nz/#!nF9GmRgY!gvE-v7Ww49v8W25sWTR5BvKVsx21Jo8BZVrmfe-QWwU
Just merge the scripts folder with your current one. Default key is J. If you want to edit the ini and/or change the sound.wav file while in-game, just type "simplesoundplayer" into the cheat console (the ~ key) and the script will reread everything.
@0x49 I'm still on 1.0.1180.1 so that's not an issue
@0x49 Interesting, although it is actually complicated lol; I'd need to somehow grab the game's sound (through Window's playback device list perhaps?) and then somehow add effects to it in real time.. worth looking into I think!
@Cashrules If you just want to play from beginning/stop a certain sound with a keypress, I can give it a try. Not with the self-radio though. It'll be essentially the same result.
@cixler Did you try this version?: https://mega.nz/#!7V8HWC6Z!SOLXwWqbXx2IWGQDbNDf3yti63km6hyxjsDuciJTh70
Also please post your scripthookvdotnet2.log so I can check for errors, thank you.
@Cashrules Almost forgot about that.. I'll give it a try when I find the time. Haven't had much time to code as of late.
@Number1GojiFan thanks! Man, really need to update this like I said I would, my bad!
@Cashrules sorry for the late reply, been busy. Should be a simple script I guess but looks like Jitnaught might get back to you. Otherwise I may be able to try it in a few days.
