@LDNENG @Pr0trikk or anyone that knows: I'm wondering if the mechanic of DLC vehicles spawning in traffic just like the non-DLC vehicles is possible to get as a stand-alone feature? I've searched for other mods that may do this, but only been able to find menu/trainer vehicle spawner mods.

@Intars I experience this at times myself but don't have this mod installed yet. I know what you're talking about as one of the videos posted on this page shows the same thing happening. I have 2 other mods that "may" influence this, but i'm thinking it is a thing even in pure vanilla. Maybe just happens more with certain types of game modifications. The 2 mods I currently have that I mentioned are "Inverse Power" and "Realistic Traction Overhaul".

Hey thanks for the update Alexander.
Could someone help me understand... In the readme provided with Script Hook, under the instructions it mentions "You must delete old dsound.dll asiloader if you have one installed."

Being as I installed and have been using the FOV mod, I've had "dsound.dll" in my game directory for a while (along with dinput8.dll) and haven't noticed any problems. Or at least, both FOV mod and mods using Script Hook are working.

Should i still delete the "dsound.dll" file? Will the FOV mod be able to use the "dinput8.dll" file like it does with dsound? I don't know what the files do exactly (at all actually), but anyone else that does, could you answer please? Thank you

Hi, i'm wondering if you could help me out with an issue i'm experiencing. Since installing this, vehicles driven by NPCs will randomly disappear while i'm driving myself. It may only be when i'm driving at higher speeds, or at least happens more often. But i'll get cars disappearing about every 10 seconds. Do you know what causes this and how i can fix it?

Also, i'm wanting to remove the extra vehicles this mod adds, or maybe just modify which vehicles are added, if it's not too difficult to do. I just didn't like how many supercars are around and how often i see them. It kind of takes away from their uniqueness, to me anyway.

@Foxtrot519 Sweet! I was surprised to see this as Idaho isn't typically talked about much or whatever. I visited your other site pages and see you're in the UK. What inspired you to make these Boise police vehicle textures?
Also, in the description you ask for us to help your other sites/channels get exposure with a quick mention. What do you mean "with a mention"? I'm not apart of most social media stuff, so just not sure how to do that/what it means.

@Yoda4P Edit2: Sorry for another comment. Just reporting that after renaming the text file you provided to "global.oxt" and dragging it into the destination your readme mentions using OpenIV, an error was populated saying either file was corrupt or "line 1 corrupt". I copied the version number line from template file provided in your mod archive along with adding curly brackets at the beginning and end of the text. That seems to have worked. Format changed to .gxt2 and overwrote the file.

@Yoda4P EDIT: Nevermind about my question. I see you have that info in the read-me. Location is: mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\Real_Names\dlc.rpf\x64\data\lang\*YOUR LANGUAGE*dlc.rpf\

And i see that you say adding the template file with .oxt extension will automatically convert to .gxt2, which would overwrite the file that is already there. All makes sense. Thank you very much for the reply and going the extra mile in giving me a customized version for what i want.

Wow thanks man! So do I still install your mod normally (Tools, Package Installer) within OpenIV. Then afterwards manually add that new file you just linked (after changing the extension)? Is there a specific folder i need to make sure to drop it in?

I haven't installed your mod yet because I was worried that doing so before editing whatever is needed to install vehicle names only would cause problems. Point is, i'm not exactly sure how my mods folder will look after installing your mod, which may be self explanatory on where this new file is supposed to go once your mod is installed..?

Edit: ... clarify once more if anything extra is needed ^to be done, to install the vehicle names....

I've read through ALL the comments twice and the description / read-me several times but still struggling to figure this out. I only just started messing with GTA mods today, so i'm not confident i know what to do.

I'm wanting to just install the vehicle name changes for vanilla only. I'd be okay with also allowing the weapon names to be changed if it was more complicated to remove than location names. I'm not using "MRCP". But do have LeFix Speedometer installed.

Is the only thing i have to do is remove all the location/weapon entries from the "global.oxt" file within the "Template file" folder? And even though it appears you've answered this a few times, could you clarify once more if anything extra is needed to install the vehicle names for vanilla only vs if I had MRCP installed? Or is the install process the same regardless in that regard? Would rly appreciate any extra help you'd be willing to provide, thank you.
