@benjamin94 Hey, the new update is amazing! Everything is "working" right now, you just need to smooth all the moving, the entering vehicles and the shooting but this mod is lightyears ahead of what it was a week ago. I believe after you finish polishing it you should work on 4 player edition (maybe easier than split screen?) or even split screen if you found a camera mod or script to allow independent cameras. Let me know if I can help you translating it into spanish or making some graphics or something.
@benjamin94 sorry, I didn't tag you correctly before. This is what I said: Player 2 now walks perfectly but there is another bug on moving player 1: as he moves the minimap camera changes and that, at the same time, changes the direction of moving, so you can't walk on the same direction well. Could you find a way for the player 1 to move ignoring the minimap camera, and move according to the GTA:SA style camera, just like the player 2? If so, then everything would be fixed.
Guys, he won't make any progress if you're still making the same mistakes and bombarding this section with the same comments. Its been said a lot of times that the mod works and each controller can control a single player, if yours controls two then read all the comments, a lot of solutions have been said for x360 and non-x360 controllers. Please read before you post
@DrDaxxy your fov.ini crashes the game. Could you fix it?
Guys, remember that you CANT configure your controller if you're using a xbox 360 controller, a dualshock 3 with scpserver or any controller with x360ce as all these programs are emulating a xbox 360 controller and it doesn't need to be configured (regarding x360ce, the configuration must be done on the program, not on gta v).
@benjamin74 congrats on the advances! Player 2 now walks perfectly but there is another bug on moving player 1: as he moves the minimap camera changes and that, at the same time, changes the direction of moving, so you can't walk on the same direction well. Could you find a way for the player 1 to move ignoring the minimap camera, and move according to the GTA:SA style camera, just like the player 2? If so, then everything would be fixed.
@codeflex sorry for yelling :( just trying to remove benjamin74 some work
Guys, PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU POST! if you're having any connection bug please try before saying that this mod doesn't work! MENU WON'T OPEN if it doesn't dettect a second controller. IF THE GAME CRASHES then its because its incompatible with one of your mods or because you have a wrong dinput8, scripthookv, nativeui or maybe xinput_3 if you're using a different xinput software . The only aknowledged bug is the wrong movement of the second player and more advanced things that the second player still can't do correctly. Game doesn't dettect your controller? Try using X360Ce or SCP. Here's how
-If you're using original DS3 controllers use SCPServer to emulate a x360 controller. You wont have any problem connecting both of them but configuring them can be difficult on scpserver. Download link is http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-XInput-Wrapper-for-DS3-and-Play-com-USB-Dual-DS2-Controller
-If you're using fake PS3 controllers, or original DS3+fake PS3 controller, download x360ce. This version I just uploaded seems not to have problems with GTA V, put it in the game folder: http://www59.zippyshare.com/v/XX9eSlZ7/file.html
Make sure the Passthrough option is disabled in "Advanced" or your controller will be grayed out. Also select the default controller configuration: try several ones because only a few of them will make all your buttons work the right way (ie. sometimes Start button triggers R2). For fake PS3 controllers I believe the configuration option is philips controller + adjusting the stick axis later.
After that you should now be able to use 2 controllers even if you only see one controller on the F11 Mod options (original PS3 controllers don't appear there). To fix the controlling both players problem, you have to try disconnecting the first or second controller, connecting them again, then pressing CTRL+INSERT to reload the mod, then pressing F11 and activating the mod again. You'll have to try several times with the first or second controller but it works: disconnect, connect, ctrl+insert, press F11 and activate the mod, or changing the order: disconnect, ctrl+insert, connnect, F11... It will take you some minutes but it definitely works.
@benjamin94 congratulations on the progress; driving is now practically perfect on the second player but walking is still buggy and the walking in circles still occurs. Now that the driving is perfect if you could somehow fix the walking, the same way, then this mod would have its main bug fixed!
Well, heres how to connect 2 controllers without one moving both players:

It will take you some minutes but it definitely works. As of version 1.4 , this does not fix the dpad bug, but configuring the controllers is apparently not necessary if you already have configured them in x360ce. Note that you will still run in circles, but maybe in 1.5 with the fixed bugs you'll have to configure them in order to move correctly.
