So how did you get your dogfight planes (assuming the ones that don't carry native onboard flares), to execute a flare discharge in the air? Like what vehiclehash or weaponhash did you use to do this exactly?
I'm hoping to add this incredible feature for my Ai pilots too, as this concept is pretty groundbreaking in my view.
@rechkunov Interesting, however most dlc plane addons don't carry flares within their weapon inventory.
So assuming possible way around this, if the game has an asi plugin mod, like your "Flares & Chaffs" mod, could be to assign a corresponding hash value thats readily available throughout the game so the plane pilot can pull from.
Am I correct in thinking this way?

Is it possible to assign the game Ai pilots to use your scripts flares & chaffs on there plane when being fired upon? if so then does your script have a vehicle weapon hash to go by or something for triggering this event?

@dareios87 I had earlier plans too, but due to lack of contribution over the years & the time needed to perform some research for bettering my coding skills (I'm not a coder by trade btw).
I simply gave up on these ambitions in making an all out dogfight stimulator for this mod, which I had plans on incorporating the chaffs & flares defensive tactics for the Ai planes to use.
@dareios87 No currently not, the visual basic is such an open source it allows for unlimited modifications unlike the usual & modern library class dll file.
@Coolfrank Again make sure its the basic edition of the "Army v2" folder you're adding in & not the whole folder containing both Army versions from the archive.
There was an earlier user who had experienced this issue.
Also may I ask what SHVDN version your using?
For those users who are playing with the 'Army At Sixstars' mod, please be aware to not use both paratrooper functions, that are found within this mod ( Airforce Intercept when wanted) & its complement mod (Army At Sixstars).
It is advised to either disable the paratrooper option on the 'Army Sixstars' or the Airforce intercept mod, as using both mods with the Paratroops function active could cause too many airtraffic collisions & possible conflict with each others unit functions, which share much similarities in their coding.
@Pumpum2 Before I comment on your situation, scroll through the other comments up above & see if you're issue is related & already answered.
Anyways, remembering that there should only be one or the other Army folder in the scripts & not two Army folders is the first step.
