This is the best zombie mod on the site right now for roleplaying. However it drops fps on my game by half. I understand this mod is old but i hope you dont mind if i edited it for my own use. My fps now stays the same at 60. Thank you!
This mod is perfect! Just edited the height to 6.5, disable ragdoll and now i can dive over fences and clear roof gaps without it looking too unrealistic. Great job! Maybe for your future update, you can make the height configurable in the ini file for non modders.
@outrow I tried fixing that but it was either that or it gets too chaotic when all peds can use vehicles. Occasionally there will be peds spawning already driving a vehicle and they wont disappear. Also, it breaks immersion but GTA for some reason counts animals as peds too so occasionally you will find they have weapons... I'll see if theres anything i can do about it in my next update. @idlehands Im sure its possible but it would require preventing the game from spawning peds normally and having to spawn individual custom peds which might impact overall performance. The way the mod works currently is it just makes the peds that the game spawns normally within a radius - hostile. I'll see what I can do but no promises.
@Yukinono Hey, I tried testing for this to recreate the problem but I havent come across vehicles disappearing when I enter them since the first version I think. Make sure you have the latest version of the mod and if you still run into the same issue, check if you have configured some settings regarding traffic (no traffic etc) in native trainer/menyoo and the likes.
@FelixSG Yeah I'm having a similar problem where it wont revert back even after respawning after death and I cant seem to find a fix for it. I've uploaded a new version which works around it by reverting back to your previous character model on keypress (default BACKSPACE - configurable in .ini). I cant seem to revert back automatically on respawn. This is only a quick fix while I find a better way to solve this. Thanks for mentioning it.
@FelixSG I've added an option in 1.2 to only allow the three function keys during the purge. I've also tested F12 on mine and it seems to work fine toggling the mod on and off.

@DMSBlue that would defeat the whole purpose as atmosphere was my main focus for this mod
