@zilch I tested it again and it seems broken. While E still brings up the LSPDFR standard computer, the E key doesn't honk or enables the siren in a police car anymore with this configuration:
modeKey = 0x26
manualLeftKey1 = 0x25
manualLeftKey2 = 0x25
manualRightKey1 = 0x27
manualRightKey2 = 0x27
(arrows keys)
Maybe I should find a different key for that anyway but still, something seems odd. It works again if the mod is disabled.

And yeah you are right it has the functionality. I was talking about one mode that combines full manual with auto off so that you don't have to switch modes. But I guess you can't have everything :D

Great mods, thanks! I have an issue as well with the keybindings. I changed the keybindings to another key (keyboard) but the E key somehow still is hooked? Another mod which uses the E key (LSPDFR) is not being able to use that key anymore with this mod and changed keybinding.
I was wondering if it would be possible to have a Manual - Auto off / Manual off mode? Like I wanna turn them on manually and then have them turn off automatically or manually?
But nevertheless it's a fantastic mod :)
