@Jordan447 so I tried using the model name "bearcat" and "Swat Bearcat" but it cant find the files. I even added a dlctext.meta from other addons I have. cant find model file
and yes, I added the dlc list line
@Squiky lol, ive seen that in like every cop ticket mod, I think its the only thing the creator could find, because R* never voiced lines for tickets
@bravo-one-charlie @bravo-one-charlie holy shit, im an idiot. in the latest folder, I had left a texture file for the original police file... so the interior was from a taxi basically. I fixed it, and it works perfect now! along with your other mod! Thanks for your time in helping me! your mods are great
@bravo-one-charlie here is exactly what I did: https://youtu.be/eAVPA3i6sWY
the other cop car works fine
@bravo-one-charlie ok, great thanks! I'll try that, the carvariations is the only thing that confuses me so far, I'll try it a few different ways
Lol perfect description
@bravo-one-charlie I'm so close to getting this to work please help. I may have changed too many .meta names!
I replaced police.rpf with this file and the model and textures load in, but the dash textures are definitely not working right, and the light bars are dinky and not working right.
I went into update.rpf/common/data/levels/gta/vehicles.meta and changed the police model and textures to police(off). Then changed this addon models and textures to "police", the vehicles.meta to "police" and changed the child thing at the bottom to police also. But it must still be pulling info from this original file, because i opened the game, and the car was 2 Wd like the stainer still. I then changed original game vehicles.meta >police> handling to scout. And it is 4wd and drives right. I just can't figure out what is wrong with the dash and the light bars... can someone help with a quick step by step of how to add the addon pack, and then replace the "police" file with this scout suv? Trying not to throw screen across room thanks
@Bouncealot420 update.rpf/common/data/dlclist
At the bottom, add the line
dlcpacks:\scoutpack\

So it fits uniform with the rest of the list

This mod is the best! The light bar is great! Perfect with paleto bay police pack as county Sheriff cars! Are you planning on making a stainer pack with similar light bars and extras? Like with more push bars, rims, lights, etc? noone was made a good variety pack for the lore friendly stainer! Love the mod
