This is a modified version of the HeapAdjuster mod which can be found here: https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/heap-limit-adjuster-600-mb-of-heap
The purpose of this asi remains the same as the original which is to resolve ERR MEM EMBEDDEDALLOC ALLOC error crashes caused by using more memory than the heap allows. The modified version comes with an ini so users can define the heap size manually as they wish. The project is open source and can be found here: https://github.com/Dilapidated/gtav-HeapAdjuster-ini
Please ensure to only use one version of this asi at a time. The original is titled "GTAV.HeapAdjuster.asi" while this version is simply "HeapAdjuster.asi"
Thanks to the FiveM team for permissions to release this to the public and for all the hard work they've done.

@D0PEB0I_ I installed NVE now and the game crashes with the SirenSettingsLimitAdjuster.asi - my HeapAdjuster is 10,000 - do you know the max limit for that?
@Suzerain001 gotcha im not sure i took SirenSettingsLimitAdjuster out and my HeapAjuster is set on 750 but i do have my game working i just dont have half the mods that i did have on it and i only use QuantV
So no fix or update or workaround? Have a lot of mods... :(
People, this is heap allocation, a program contains both heap and stack allocs. Greater values does not mean better performance/less crashes.
You SHOULD NOT define heap size depending on your RAM. The game has its limits, so a value like 650 would do just fine (GTA Vs default value is less than 500 MB).
I’d say values above 1024 would crash your game even more. It will also take more time to load too the greater the value you add.
Oye @Dilapidated , ¿cuál sería el tamaño máximo en el que también puedo editar el ajustador de montón?
@MAESTRE Hummmm this makes sense.
I downloaded one with a value of 10000 and my game is basically unplayable.
@MAESTRE old scripts and mods can also cause crash right. I have many. lol dont know which is which anymore since rockstar keeps F**king it up :(
Using this mod, completely fresh install with latest script hook v ONLY, crashes my game. Version 2699, This needs to be updated!!!
@MAESTRE Hmmmm interesting. What about Packfilelimitadjuster, WeaponsLimitAdjuster, SirenSettings? What's the max value you reckon those should be at?
@Danger2k Revert to 2372.2 my fren
What is the best value for this mod?
Guys take care with define heap size, not make it too much. When I use 1024 it will crash. Its depend of RAM size too.
Use 10000. It worked for me because I have 24GB RAM
Or
Use 2000 for 8GB users
so for 16gb ram what do i use? and also on a side note is there a reason i cant add a 10th car into my add on folder using f7yo's gameconfig? it crashes to desktop without warning due to it
@Lapd Code 3 if the gameconfig doesn't work that means you need to find an updated gameconfig that works with your version of GTA.
@kennyyip65 yeah .. really Tragedy :|
thanks!
I have 32 GB of RAM, what values I need to set it?
Thanks!
Wow I am a fucking idiot. I spent 3 days trying to fix memory issues and I found out I didn't have the .asi file HA...
