Radio Toggle
This is my 2nd script that I've made for GTA V for my own needs.
What it does:
Tap "-" [Minus Sign] to toggle the Radio On/Off
Tap "*" [Asterisk] to change to a random Radio Station (only works when Radio is turned On)
Hold "*" [Asterisk] to go straight to a configurable Preferred Radio Station (only works when Radio is turned On)
Tap "/" [Divide Sign] to go back to the last listened Radio Station (only works when Radio is turned On)
Hold "/" [Divide Sign] to skip to the next song (only works when Radio is turned On)
What's configurable:
Preferred Radio Station - Any Radio Station, including Self Radio. When Self Radio it's not available, a random Radio Station will be used instead. [Default: Self Radio]
Start with the Preferred set Radio Station - Always change to the Preferred Radio Station when entering a new Vehicle [Default: Off]
Radio On/Off - Always start with the Radio turned Off when entering a new vehicle [Default: Off]
Requirements:
Script Hook V

LUA Plugin [v10] for Script Hook V (LUA v9 doesn't work)

Changelog:
- v0.1 - Innitial release
- v0.2 - Added setting for remembering Last vehicle's Radio status.
That was also the default behavior in v0.1, but now you
have the option to change it.
- Radio Off it's now independent from Set Default Station,
so you can Start with the Radio turned Off even if you
didn't set the Radio to start with the preferred Station.
- Minor changes in code.
- v0.3 - Pending ...

Hey man just want where did you get your lua plugin every one i use doesnt work
@roddyman The link it's inside the Readme file inside the archive.
LUA Plugin: http://178.62.61.147/index.php?title=Download
@80T ok so i tried that one and im still having no luck with the luas none of them work
@roddyman
1. Check this page: http://gtaforums.com/topic/789139-vrelhook-lua-plugin-for-script-hook-v/
2. Make sure you have latest Visual Studio 2013 installed (on x64 OS install both x86 & x64)
VS 2013: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784 Required for LUA to work.
If still no luck, update or clean and update your Net Framework installations.
@80T i cant download vs 2013 for some reason
@roddyman Google it. You must find a way to download it. Although I don't see any reasons why you can't download it from M$ official link...
@80T ok got all that downloaded installed cleaned and every thing but the lua still isnt working
If you have installed Script Hook V, all prerequisites and LUA V10 SDK, you should see a CMD window appearing while starting the game and stealing focus (throwing your game out of fullscreen most likely)
If that CMD window doesn't appear, you did something wrong with the installation. Or your game it's not up to date. Go to Steam Library and do an integrity check on the game. It's impossible not to work...
its worlking thank you so much
Nice! Thanks.
@T1GER404 I've added an enable/disable user radio control feature for the upcoming v0.3 if that helps. Hold the On/Off Toggle Key "-" to enable/disable the radio interface controls. That way you can't accidentally mess up the radio. I'm too tired now to verify and upload it. Maybe sometime tomorrow...
Could you do an .asi file? I'm not getting LUA files to work properly for myself and I'm not wanting to haggle anymore. Would be really nice. I just want it to always go to Self-radio instead of haggling with the stupid selection-wheel.
For some reason, it just doesn't work correctly. Whenever I try to switch the radio off with "-" key, it doesn't do it, but when I try to change the station via the wheel afterwards, I have to do it twice, because the first try does nothing and the radio keeps playing the same station. Plus, it messes up your SpeedPlate script, stopping it from updating the text on the plate. The Plate starts working again tho, when I try to switch the station via the wheel, but the radio keeps playing the same station until I try the second time, as I stated earlier. And no, it doesn't start working if I delete the SpeedPlate script, and no, I don't have any other scripts.
@Vogelnator After I'll consider this script finished and not prone for any more updates I'll ask headscript, the author of LUA Plugin if he would convert it to .asi as I don't know how.
@Claude Liberty @Vogelnator If you are using LUA prior to v10 you should update. I wasn't able to make this plugin until I've updated to LUA v10.
Please add configurable keys.
@PapiDimmi open the script in Notepad++ or even Windows plain Notepad and look at the first lines of the code. You can change the keys to whatever you see fit.
@80T Which LUA should I use? Headscript's or Freakyy's?
@Claude Liberty Headscript's. The links in the description point you there. Also I would advise using the SDK version since that's what I've used and can guarantee to work with. I don't think there should be functional differences between the two but reading through various posts on gtaforums puts me in doubt...
Regarding the 0.3 update... I'm sorry, but I'm putting it on hold for the time being since I need to figure out some more stuff... I'm currently not satisfied with how my script's handling some situations and the last Client update it's not making things any better... I'm in need of at least one more native (that might not even exist) to make this script work like it should and without over complicating things. The alternative would be not using LUA and I don't know how to use .net or c++...
this doesn't work for me, use this mod instead

@Boatsil too bad it's only off.. I wish there was an Off/On script
