This is a small mod that changes the money color to green and restores the area name and the vehicle name colors from original Steve Walsh's HUD concepts
Installation: mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/ui - drop the files there
Pretty much this mod gets you a little closer to the beta version and makes the money green like GTA Online
PS. There is a small easter egg hidden, find it if you will

@ReNNie Far simplier, if you use this mod then you open hudcolor.dat and edit the RGBA of HUD_COLOUR_NET_PLAYER1 (There is two but only the first one needs to be edited)
If you don't want to use this mod and do colored text yourself then open frontend.xml by yourself and find "HUD_VEHICLE_NAME" then change the hudcolor name and edit the RGBA in hudcolor.dat
@HeySlickThatsMe Yo, so HOW exactly do I install this on the steam version? There is no "mods" folder in there, and when I try to skip that one and make an update.rpf folder in "update" it says I can't.
I'm bypassing mod managers and going direct.
@Drunken Hamster Install openiv.asi using openiv, there should bee a button to do it, then make mods folder and copy the .rpf there
@HeySlickThatsMe Now it won't launch. Tried from OpenIV and from steam. Filing system goes mods/update/update.rpf(this is a folder)/common/data/ui and then the mod files are in there.
@HeySlickThatsMe NVM, I got it. 10/10's does as advertised. Looks great.
Works great and looks hella nice but is there a way to change the menus back to the default blue color as opposed to yellow?
Really subtle easter egg!
@HeySlickThatsMe HeySlick, is my hud supposed to be purple, white, & red instead of your green, white, & blue? Or did I install somethin wrong?
@NaijaMango You installed something wrong
This is really awesome, it just adds onto the authentic GTA experience IMO. TY!
anyone know whats the name of the things he edited in the pictures inside of the hudcolor,dat file? i want to change them to my own colors.
nicee
